Built on Legacy

Our goal is to connect Jamaica, Africa, and every corner of the diaspora between them, carrying that bond through the music we release, the media we create, and the merchandise we build to last.

A1 · The Meaning

The Roots of Legacy.

I&I is a phrase rooted in Rastafari thought and language. At its core, it speaks to unity, equality, connection, and oneness.

A people without the knowledge of their past history, origin and culture is like a tree without roots.

Marcus Garvey, Jamaican National Hero

History teaches us that unity is strength, and cautions us to submerge and overcome our differences in the quest for common goals, to strive, with all our combined strength, for the path to true African brotherhood and unity.

Emperor Haile Selassie I, Towards African Unity, 1963
